"When the law and his ideology conflict, he tends to go with ideology. And that's about the last quality you want to find in someone who's going to be your attorney general."

Amid anti-Trump protests across the U.S., members of the Electoral College met at state capitols on Dec. 19. But despite millions of petition signatures and phone calls urging electors to switch their votes, the hoped for upending of the nation’s constitutionally mandated non-democratic Electoral College process failed. Bernie Sanders. The final Electoral College total was 304 votes for Trump and 227 for Clinton.  Story continues

Like Trump, many of his supporters also mistakenly believe that climate change is a hoax. According to an October Pew poll, 47 percent of those who back Trump say the Earth is warming because of natural patterns, while 30 percent believe there is no solid evidence the Earth is warming at all. Only 22 percent of those polled who support Trump say the Earth is warming mostly because of human activity, as virtually all the world's scientists have concluded.  Story continues

President-Elect Donald Trump’s appointments have enraged and worried many Americans no matter what their priorities, whether it’s health care, labor rights, environment and climate change, or other issues. He has given the nod to individuals in many cases who have promised to destroy the very agencies they’ve been appointed to lead.  Story continues
