Kai Newkirk shares his views on the organizing work that must be done now to challenge the rise of white supremacists and right wing terrorism in the U.S. being fueled by Donald Trump and the complicit Republican Party, Newkirk gained extensive experience employing massive civil disobedience during the 2016 Democracy Spring actions where over 1,300 people were arrested on the steps of the U.S. Capitol building in a campaign to end the corruption of big money in politics and protect all citizens’ right to vote.
