Climate Change Protest Arrestee Takes Action to Address Inhumane Conditions at New Haven Jail

Interview with Kevin Keenan, a Yale Law alumnus and climate activist, conducted by Scott Harris

Kevin Keenan will discuss the climate action and his experience being locked up in the New Haven Police Department’s jail for several hours, which provoked him to write a letter to New Haven Police Chief Otoniel Reyes and Anthony Dawson, chairman of the New Haven Board of Police Commissioners, protesting conditions in the jail facility.

Keenan was arrested during a protest demanding action to address climate change at the annual Yale-Harvard football game on Nov. 23rd last year.
